The Crater Track starts at the top of Mt Pleasant Road and runs mostly downhill along some great single track out to Godley Head. You can descend from Evans Pass down the Captain Thomas Track into Sumner or from Breeze Col down the Anaconda to Taylors Mistake.

MT PLEASANT ROAD TO EVANS PASS (~30 MINUTES)

The track starts about 100 meters along the Summit Road from the top of Mt Pleasant road. An initial climb is soon rewarded with a down hill ride on mostly well flowing single track. The odd rocky section to negotiate, but mostly a reasonably fast ride.

EVANS PASS TO BREEZE COL (~30 MINUTES)

Once at Evans Pass, cross the road and make your way up a very rocky climb before winding down towards Breeze Col. Lots of fast single track and great views.

From Breeze Col you can do the Godley Head Loop Track and then head down the Anaconda to Taylors Mistake.

BREEZE COL TO TAYLORS MISTAKE - ANACONDA (~10 MINUTES)

From Breeze Col, head back down to Taylors Mistake for a fast down hill ride. Nice corners and fairly smooth track make for a mostly fast ride down.
