This very scenic track follows the shore line around Frankton Arm. A mostly flat, multi-use track, this is a great ride to enjoy with the family.

Frankton Arm to Kelvin Heights is a more technical single track with great views across the lake and to the mountains beyond.

QUEENSTOWN TO FRANKTON (~45 MINUTES)

Starting at the Botanic Gardens in Queenstown, this track follows the edge of Frankton Arm to the Kawarau River bridge and is popular with local walkers & bikers. The track is a mixture of single track, 4WD track, gravel & sealed roads with plenty of exit/entry points.

FRANKTON TO KELVIN HEIGHTS (~1.5 HOURS)

This track starts 100 metres south of the Kawarau River bridge and heads up towards Peninsula Road. Follow the road for a few hundred metres before heading right down to the edge of Frankton Arm. Follow the single track from the 'Kelvin Grove Track' sign all the way along until you reach a playground. You can carry on and loop around the golf course to the end of the peninsula ending back at the playground. Return to Frankton by either the track or Peninsular Road.
